PRODUCT REVIEW: FRESH ROSE FACE MASK – BEST HYDRATING MASK, BEST FACE MASK FOR DEHYDRATED SKIN
FRESH | ROSE FACE MASK
If you didn’t catch my IGTV for #selfcaresunday the past two weekend, be sure to catch it on my IG page and see me put Fresh’s iconic face masks into action!
This past Sunday, I pampered my dry, dehydrated skin with the Fresh Rose Face Mask — perhaps their most iconic formula.
It’s funny to hear myself say that my skin was dry and dehydrated. You’d think I’d have that under control. But it’s literally impossible.
Unless I were spritzing myself with a hydrating mist every couple of hours and following up with the application of an occlusive moisturizer, there’s just no staying ahead of it. The air around me is just that dry!
I went for a walk with a friend in the early afternoon and was shocked at how dehydrated my eye area looked in our usual celebratory selfie.
So, I hurried home and parked myself at the bathroom sink to get my skin quickly hydrated! It was the perfect opportunity to try out Fresh’s iconic Rose Face Mask. I love roses and actually have them around the apartment every day.
The Rose Face Mask is a real treat with multiple rose water extracts, Cucumber Extract and Aloe Vera Gel — which gives it its thick gooey gel texture.
There’s also something in the INCI called Porphyridium Cruentum, which the hilarious copywriter at Fresh describes as “a ‘smart’ algae [that] delivers optimum moisture.”I dunno how that makes it smarter than what would appear to be the dumb algae in a jar of Creme de la Mer!
Fresh’s Rose Face Mask is super soothing, super hydrating and super fun.
One word of caution: there’s a small amount of Rose Flower Oil in the formula, so if your skin is sensitive to fragrance and fragrant plant oils, you probably want to forego this one.
