I first featured this delightful new Deciem product on my IG page two weeks ago on #skincarmasaturday — when I share a glimpse of my new skincare discoveries of the week.
One of the things I’ve missed most during the slo-mo sludge of the past year is randomly dropping in on a Deciem store. I would literally hang out in there for more than an hour, touching every product, reading every carton.
How often did I meet friends at Deciem before heading to lunch or dinner? It was a cherished ritual!
Even though I haven’t forgotten the innovation Deciem brings to everything they make, I had no idea what to expect from the new Abnomaly Shop room fragrance. The only other Abnomaly product I know of is the oddly unctuous Petrowhat? lip balm. (Oh how I love that stuff!)
I certainly didn’t expect to get all choked up over a room scent! But I did! Deciem’s Abnomaly Shop smells exactly like the inside of those Deciem stores we all miss so much.

Following requests from our loving audience, the scent has now been bottled and made available for the home. SHOP encapsulates DECIEM’s playful nature, elevating any space through a collection of cozy fragrance notes.

What’s Deciem’s Abnomaly Shop Smell Like?
It smells exactly like the inside of a Deciem store. You know, that warm, sophisticated aroma that makes you feel like you crossed into an alternate universe! Deciem describes the Abnomaly Shop room fragrance this way:
“The notes open on top with Black Poivre, enhanced by the nature of Cypress oil. They rest on the heart accord of Iso E Super and Chalk. The warmest notes of Guaiacwood, Sequoia, and fresh Cedar are amplified with balsamic notes of Labdanum Resin, White Amber Crystals, White Musk, and Patchouli, which add tenacity and longevity.”
